No matter what you see in the media, not all people in wheelchairs have bodies full of muscles, long arms and the upper body strength of a gymnast. We have to work at being healthy - sometimes even more than our able-bodied peers. Even more, each of our bodies are different and will respond differently to activities.
What’s most important is that you do what is right for your body. Remember, what works for me may not work for you. So, don’t try to live your #4WheelLife as I do mine.
It’s a journey so ride it out.
